Steps to start a new business:

1) Pick a name, verify with your local state website if available.

2) Consult with professional in setting up state articles of incorporation ie: LLC, S Corp, C Corp, partnership, Sole proprietor etc. Establishing proper business structure (very important) not sure contact Capitol Taxes.

3) once registered with state laws, need to register for EIN Tax ID with IRS & obtain SS4 Form.

4) Open business account

5) Register with duns & Bradstreet & obtain d-u-n-s number to start vendor credit profile ( business credit )
